The Brussels Offline - a Gallop through the WineWorld (Chris Cook's House) : WOW... another beauty from Argentina... YUM! Claudio was the king of red wines tonight - his flight was surelly superior to all others :) Well integrated tannins and oak. good fruit - malbec is showing as prominent (is it high % in the blend?) but the others are adding structure and backbone. If this will age well it should be a true gem.

This wine is really coming together, very deep in color, great viscosity and aromas of ripe plums, tobacco and milk chocolate, malbec (over 60% of the blend) is definitely there. On the mouth it has a velvety attack with great amplitude and good red fruit and plums aromas. The tannins are melted and acidity is good with a lingering finish. Very good and will certainly keep!

The attack is velvety with notes of ripe red fruit, a little bit of meat and some black pepper. Again a lot of finesse, well …

The first nose …
