{organically farmed} Good+. A PnP (agglomerated cork) that was much better when it wasn't quite so cool/chilled. 100% Marsigliana Nera; part of their Cru series, i.e. not entry-level. Heavily mineral/of place, with emerging strawberry and early-mature, not quite unripe, raspberry/cherry fruit. Dry, nearly medium-bodied, with fine, subtle but nicely framing tannins. Avg complexity and finish+ due to the tannins; it has this extra appeal due to its very transparent nature. Some pine needle and a dried herbal quality add interest. …

A revelation, almost an orange wine in every way except name. Superb on the nose and in the mouth with beautiful notes of orange peel and stone fruits. Will be trying again possibly at an orange wine tasting for a bit of fun. Works really well with saucisson and conte as an appetiser.
