Excellent. Nine years out and this wine is drinking wonderfully. It still has some freshness. It has a great fruit with cherry, strawberry, and a bit of raspberry, a hint of cola, some earthy forest-floor notes, and just a hint of warm spice. The tannins have rounded over nicely. This is a big wine, strong, a lot going on here... but all in good balance.

Nose was a bit musty but this seemed to blow off. Once again quite enjoyable. In the top 4 out of 12 Oregon/Burgundy wines in blind tasting.

Opened for a friend who is a big pinor fan. Wanted to try the 06 after enjoying the 04s. I think people have overlooked Chris Berg's signature pinot. Ran it through the Venturi and decanted it for an hour. Elegant, refined. Great color. Not an over the top fruit forward pinot. More burgundy in style. Check it out.

Interesting lack of ANY aroma or flavor right out of the bottle With time yielded very nice aromas of dark fruit/ blackberries, floral notes and spices. Very smooth and silky palate, peppery with dark fruit and spices. Not much tannin but a nice long finish

Darker, richer color than most pinots; beautiful fruit bouquet on the nose. Excellent palatal balance with rich fruit, nice finish.

Toasty oak, hard mid palate, bing cherry to crab apple. Very tight right now. Hopefully once its muscles calm down the oak and fruit will come together. But that is on you to figure out.
