Damn thats good juice , inky teeth staining dark color I opened it two hours prior but didnt decant started tight but opened up in the glass , ripe fruit plenty of back bone moments of old world earth and barn yard great wine Drink or hold for years

Two hour decant. Very deep dark intense magenta color. Blackberry, plum, blueberry, dried mushroom, cocoa, and subtle licorice. Dry, full bodied palate, with great, dusty acidity. Firm, slightly grippy tannins on the longish finish.

Wow. Tastes like a $300 bottle of CS. Aromas of blackberry , black cherry, licorice and graphite. Full-bodied with grippy tannins and a 30-second finish. Gorgeous wine!

Two hour decant. Very deep dark ruby magenta color. Boysenberry, blackberry, German chocolate cake, dried fig, wool, bay leaf, and subtle walnut on the nose. Very dry, velvety palate, with granular acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish. This kept improving over an hour of drinking. It’s slightly brooding, but the fruit is rich and expressive. Nice complexity for the price point.

Eggplant purple. Staining the glass and my whole palate. Sediments. Rush of rich dark fruits on the nose and palate adding cigar wrapper, tobacco, melted licorice and tar. So much intensity on the palate, plush, later adding some mushrooms and fallen autumn leaves notes. We blind tasted with The Debate and this just stood out more and it’s half the price. So a little QPR win there. Cheers 🍷

Absolutely incredible! Super deep, profound and layered. It has lush dark fruit, dusty black cherries, blackberry liqueur, freshly picked raspberry jelly, butterscotch, sweet spices and crushed pebbles. Opulent palate MH style, addition of wild flowers, kirsch, explosions of dark fruit flavors in an abundance and plenty of complexity to balance it all out. Silky tannins, long finish.

Coravined. Nearly opaque purple magenta color. Blackberry, blueberry, Thin Mints (Girl Scout cookies), and subtle baking spice on the nose. Smooth, dry palate, with great tongue coating acidity. Firm, full tannins on the longish finish.

Tasting at Mark Herold tasting room in Napa - So much finesse and possessing great smooth Oakville power! An outstanding wine, I would come back again in few years and taste the 2016! Lots of depth and layers, long grainy and chewy tannins on the finish. Cheers all! 🍷🍷

It’s a big wine so take that into consideration. With that context set this is yummy and juicy with fruity notes of cherry nibs along with baking spices. Some alcohol on the palate but overall a great wine for the price point.

Rich, vibrant, and juicy cassis, black cherry, and blackberry combine with black pepper, mocha, and hints of black olive, black licorice, and toasted oak. This is a nicely rounded and structured Cabernet with flavor, length, and style if you like Napa Cabs that run up to the line but not over it. A delicious and smooth Coombsville Cab ready to drink right from the opening, no decant necessary, although there's a bit of astringency on the finish. The bottle disappeared …
