Last bottle; these have been pretty good over the years. Still a ruby to garnet in color and drinking well. Smells like black cherry, plum, smoke, black tea, iodine, orange peel, and a touch of floral. Medium (+) body, acid, and finish, with flavors of black cherry, plum, red apple skin, black tea, orange peel, lemon, and notable spiciness that lingers. Really solid with a miso glazed salmon tonight, and probably a few years left in the tank if you …

Still nowhere near old, unchanged from my 2017 note.

Not the style of pinot I usually enjoy but still a nice bottle. Heavier on the fruit like I find most Cali pinots. But still enjoyable. Last bottle.

Drinking beautifully. Different from my earlier bottles but better. Fully mature, a meaty/smoky note has really overtaken the nose, almost northern Rhone syrah-like. There's a bit of earth and blackberry as well. The palate features the blackberry up front along with black cherry but the meat/smoke/earth notes are all there on the midpalate/finish. Fully integrated medium acid/tannins. I'm not sure I would peg this as a pinot blind but boy is it enjoyable for my palate.

Floral nose. Strawberry fruit up front. A nice creamy elegance balances the fruit. Very vibrant, bottle holding up well. Bottle 2463

Tannins are completely resolved. Velvety and delicious.

This is absolutely singing! Cranberry, earth, mushroom and pronounced acidity, this is excellent!

Drinking well over several hours, it showed slightly leaner than past bottles, but was still delicious. 91+

Sort of sour tasting, beginning to decline?

Very good and fresh out of the bottle but a rapid decline with air. Past bottles indicate at this stage of its life that day 2 (which won't happen this time) will be a downgrade.

Repeat note just to confirm that I still really enjoy this wine. Aging has changed the wine, mellowed it, but I can't say it is really better now than it was before, just different, and certainly not worse. This is in a fine place now. Will it get better with age? I'm just not sure. Acid is medium, and there's not a lot of tannic punch. It might develop or it might just fade. Why risk it?

Since my other bottle were so good, I'm thinking this was flawed. Acidic, fading fruit and a sharp finish.

I found an off bottle; day 1 seemed flat, but improved the next day.

Drinking so well right now, with cranberry, red cherry and earth. Balanced acidity and tannins, this is excellent!

Better day 2, that "sweet" (nice, not sugary) PN flavor. Yum!

Not bad....very earthy, almost funky, but good fruit and spice.

A wonderful PN; maybe this is a blueprint of how they should taste. Underated? Quiet, don't tell, I'm hunting wabbit!!!

Nice, and very correct, pinot. Transparent garnet color with light bricking. Nose of smoke, cola, red fruit, and light floral. Light to medium body, medium+ acid, medium finish, and flavors of cherry, pomegranate, cola, and mineral. Very nice. 90+

What a great wine. Be sure to decant a bit as this really opens up with air. 92+

One of the best values I have ever purchased. Everyone enjoyed this and I can see myself having trouble holding on to the rest. This bottle displayed as before, but also had a tropical fruit nose and palate as well. Delicious with baked ham and went down dangerously fast. Outstanding!

Honestly, the smoothest wine I've ever had. Loads of flavor with such classy elegance. Careful, this is almost too drinkable. 92+
