3,5+ years on, this vintage has matured a lot, tannins and acidity coming together nicely. Intense nose of dark plums and cherries, on the palate the tannins are still very much present, though more sandy and subdued. Dense body yet quite elusive, heat and ABV apparent. I started buying earlier vintages at like 11€ and it was stellar QPR, now the 2017 is 25€. Of course then you’re paying for age but I reckon this wine needs 5+ years to …
