Big ripe and round but cut with acidity. Mineral, white fruit, and peppery palate. Smells like a summer garden.

Opened this at a big gathering so didn't get detailed notes, but this was round, rich, and creamy. Really nice soft, almost velvety texture. Not sure there's much point aging this any longer.

Interesting... my current notes mirror that of mine from almost 3 years ago.

Rich and textured flowery display with citrus and honey; lingering on the palate.

Finishing Up, the Day After.. (Napa) : Steely and crisp, true to style, but with a bit of residual sugar. Grüner Veltliners are always a pleasure

Screwcapped (and I didn't get any reductive notes). Big Gruner with verve and vigor. Nectarines, lemon curd, a Gruner-ish pea note, saline and slate minerality. Nice length, good mouthfeel. The peppery spice blends with a floral note as the wine opens further. Nice night on the patio, nice wine, A-

Not as excited by this as I was a year ago, but it's still a fine, intriguing gruner with stone fruit, pear, and lime with herbs and smoky vanilla making it interesting. 90-91.

Still very good, very much like the last one. This was tight, focused, and intellectual. I'll hold off on trying another for at least five years.

This was very good with a luscious body and golden color. Very bright acid buffers the rich fruit. Lime, lemon, river rocks, and flowers make up this deluxe and complex wine. Not quite as fine as the Privat Riesling, but still an excellent wine. Can’t wait to see this one develop.

Nose of freshly cut grass, Krispy Kreme donuts, delicious hot dogs and salty papaya. Just perfect. HA! Honestly, curiously good. Even great. This wine just coats every single cell in the mouth. The white pepper in this wine, alongside its creaminess, reminds me of clam chowder soup, but only if made with sauteed strawberries and bananas and leek. Mankind often invents expletives for this kind of complex pleasure. Wild!

Taken to restaurant, no detailed notes taken, but remember a delightful complexity featuring stone fruit and a little lemony citrus, but decorated with minerality and vegetal/herbal notes. Rich finish. A whole lot going on.

Holy cow this is serious juice! Densly packed with aroma and flavor ranging from citrus to floral to mineral to vegetal and everywhere in between, and then back again! At times it was dominated by slate and gravel notes, then shifted to herbs and fresh garden vegetables, and then onward to peach and orange blossom. All with impeccable balance and a fresh acidity, echoing on and on and on. Everything you can ask for in a white wine. Tasted from …

From screwcapped bottle at the wineries restaurant. Bright yellow with a golden touch - a bit closed nose but opened up with some air. Surprisingly approachable - a big wine with plenty of weight, medium acidity well integrated. Strong sense of minerality and beautiful texture, reminding me of a great white Burgundy. Endless finish. Outstanding and certainly one of the best white wines I ever had. Drink or hold.

Absolutely terrific wine. So full, so structured, so Gruner. And just screaming of its terroir. This will be an amazing wine in ten years or so.
