Domaine Rabasse-Charavin Cairanne Cuvée Pigee les Amandiers

Nice rich red colour. Flavours of dark fruit - dark cherry - with some black pepper. Some bitterness and astringency on the finish. Storage was a bit iffy - this was a forgotten wine pulled out from the crawl space of the cabin - probably didn't ever get too hot, but there is some chance it might have frozen once or twice over the years.
