This is still very good. I didn’t decant today and found it slightly better than last year. Some residual dark fruit with cedar & caramel. Penultimate bottle, will save the last for next year.

Deep ruby, flattening out a little, but still drinking well. Another couple of years good drinking.

Similar tasting note to 2020, although I think this has improved a little. Smoother, fuller, longer finish. Well balanced/integrated tannins. Very enjoyable and good value. 14.5% abv. On this evidence good for another 3/4 years at least.

Dark ruby. Damsons, rose hip, plums, spice, cinnamon nose. Full bodied, hint of sweetness, then short, dry finish. Quite enjoyable, may improve. AFTERNOTE Unusually, this bottle lasted until the next day and was re-tasted the following day. It had softened and the finish was longer. Upgraded to 89.

Quite young, but approachable with soft, slightly sweet, spicy, brambly fruit, slightly smoky and with some weight. Not very long on the finish, but may develop over the next few years.
