Matervini Malbec Alteza

The nose was ripe and spicy with notes of cocoa, crushed raspberry, sweet floral tones and hints of pepper. On the palate, I found dark spicy fruits, baker's chocolate, and a savory--almost salty--minerality. Although showing its youth and oak, the balance here was impeccable, seeming almost juicy at times. Spicy dark fruits saturated the senses and lingered long on the finish.
