The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are medium. There is no sediment in the bottle. It smells like alcohol/hot. It tastes like alcohol/hot and cranberry. The body is medium. The wine has polished texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has high acidity.

Raisin nose and palate. Nice grape sweetness. Very good, especially at the price.

Drank over 2 weeks. Fantastic for the price. Would buy again as an everyday tawny. Drinks to me better than the big houses' standard tawnies but not quite at the level of the better 10 years out there.

Good bottle of tawny port, but seemed more like a regular, not a 10-year.

Surprisingly a really nice bottle of port. Prunes, dried apricots, cinnamon and more in the profile. Long, fairly complex finish. Not overly sweet so it can actually be consumed as an aperitif as well as the traditional after dinner drink.great QPR.

High notes of nuts, dried fruits, caramel, and brown sugar raisins. This is my first ever wine (23). I got this at Costco and decided it sounded pretty good. A little high on the alcohol for my own liking but the sweet after taste was well worth the drink. If you have the chance and are more experienced than an amateur like me, it’s worth the price!

Very warm and hearty, like getting a hug from a cup of rooibos. A very spice forward body with a fruity follow up, this was a nice balance of vanilla, cloves, anise, apricots, and maraschino cherry. Has a tangy aroma like orange peel and Cointreau. Recommend decant for 10-15 mins

Brick red leaning brownish hues. Toffee, spices, vanilla, prunes/plums, slight alcohol on the nose. Honey, candied fruit, a little acidity on the palate. Negligible alcohol burn, medium-long finish. Decent QPR. Enjoyed by itself and with a piece of dark chocolate.

Nose has butterscotch, toffee, fig, dates, brown sugar, and cherry. Palate matches up pretty well, with a bit of plum/prune. Excellent QPR.

Struggled a bit with scoring this, as I think it's neither as good nor as bad as some of the notes suggest. For the price I think it delivers good value, but found it slightly too sweet and a faint aftertaste detracted a bit from the otherwise pleasant palate of toffee, caramel corn, and fig. I think it delivers exactly what I would expect from Kirkland (and their typically very good wine program) at this price point.

I enjoyed this over several weeks with no drop in quality. Garnet color. Nose of prunes and baking spice. Caramel and fig on the palate, some cherry kirsch. Long finish. Exceptional for the price.

Pale ruby in color with a brownish hue. Acid is medium, sweet tawny port, alcohol 20%, tannins medium but ripe and integrated, finish long and some unpleasant notes. Aromas of sweet candied raisins, nutmeg, cloves, spices. On the palate, dates, raisins, currants, cassis, vanilla, leather. There's some unpleasant qualities about the finish that are a bit hard from describe.

Another great example on how people here lower their scores for cheaper wines. This is just as good as other ports at twice the price.

FTLOP 17th Anniversary; 11/18/2022-11/20/2022 (Seattle, Washington) : Ruby-amber in color. There are red fruits, cranberry, red currant, and a touch of spirit on the nose. The entry has a slightly cloying sweetness, but that gives way on the mid-palate to some peasant, rich notes of spices and red fruits. Long finish with well-balanced tannins.

I've been drinking this bottle over the past year or so and am about halfway done. It has a delicious bouquet of toffee, hazelnut, sultanas, and winter holiday spices that work from the nose to the back of the palate. It's not the tawniest tawny -there are fresher fruit notes that peak out here and there, and it's not as dry as I prefer- but it does the job nicely. As far as QPR goes, this is a fantastic bargain.

I love Port. Tawny is not my top style so I am trying to broaden my palate, even if it means buying Costco's brand (they have some excellent stuff BTW). This one is medium garnet in color. The nose is quite pronounced, perhaps due to the big 20% ABV evaporating off those wafts? Nuts, caramel, singed orange, prune, raisins and a dried herb note. The palate is off-dry, with medium acidity, medium tannins and high alcohol which is noticeable. Medium …

Had sort of a cloying dried fruit sweetness and a very prominent sense of the alcohol. Unlike any other tawny I’ve had…and not in a good way.

What a delicious wine. It has a great blend of flavors and ends with a little zing(acid) on the finish which I love otherwise it would be cloying and unbalanced. Hard to not appreciate each sip more than the last. I’m going to stock up. I’m not even a big port lover and I’ve dabbled a little with some highly regarded vintage ones. I can appreciate their quality but just not my thing. This one though is just perfect to …
