Sato Cabernet Franc La Ferme de Sato Sous Bois

Bright cranberry, red cherry, and a touch of stemmy green that nods to the variety, though there’s no whole-bunch influence here. Very Pinotesque Cab Franc. Brisk and vivid acidity carries the light, juicy fruit through a clean, slightly savoury finish. No new oak here. Structurally simple it seems, but this has some real charm to it. Utterly drinkable stuff.
