Still quite tight and not showing too much at the moment. There’s a nice core of fruit and a mineral that points toward Gevrey. Worth holding—give it another five years.

Light body, lifted aromatics but still red berries. The palate has decent weight for its level, red currants and cranberry fruit, a touch of leaf which is pretty attractive for me, fresh acids on the finish. Of the vintage but a decent rendition especially for the level

Suave et assez fruité. Sur la fraise compoté et une petite impression de cassonade. Assez long et sans accroc en finale. Très bon.

Quiet nose not much going on. First sip is nice and light. You can taste 2021. The following sips are more lovely. The wine is light slightly diluted, but carries lovely, red fruits, red cherries, dark cherries, and almost candy like a mouth. It’s so easy to drink. I like. Would definitely have again for the price. Very hard to get in Qc though.

Delicious Pinot with good structure, but definitely will benefit from 3-5 more years. Still a bit young and crunchy, and per the rumors it’s very much more gevrey than just bourgogne

Fourrier tasting (Utregs Wijnhuis, Utrecht, NL) : Tasted next to Fourrier’s BR ‘20 and I liked this better. Medium intensity on the nose with pure red fruit, a bit leaner than the ‘20, more herbs, floral, rose petal, a green touch, especially with some air. Medium+ acidity, medium tannins, medium+ finish

Great BR, and starting to open up now! Raspberry, cranberry and wild strawberries on the front, digging up some clove and sage in secondary. 93 now, on its way to 95!

Fresh, stemmy aromas intermixed with raspberry pastilles, rose petals and sandalwood, which give way to bright, elegant, cranberry flavors that finish with an earthy, Gevrey spice note.

A nose of musk, smoked meats and red fruits. Energetically lean, but not skinny. There's fine nuance and a lively line of minerally acidity. Plenty of interest here. Grows in the glass.

great for a BR. 21 drinks well young so far—lighter body and nice acid. will be seeking more.

here is a bit reduction at opening, but it blows off quickly. It takes some coaxing to get the wine going, but after a short while it shows rather nice and surprisingly complex bouquet of fresh raspberry with some cherries and a touch of herbs (like there is some stems). A nice little floral note as well, but quite hidden at first. On the palate nice red fruit with the leaner 21 profile with a slightly tart cranberry character. There …

Red fruits,.berries, cherry notes. A touch green and pinched acidity. Perfectly fine bourgogne from an unmemorable year.

90-91. Just a normal Bourgogne, red fruit, plums, some spices, simple and easy drinking, not much depth or finish.

Don’t really get the other notes. Very primary still but very good for a BR. Definitely one of the best out there. Red berries, red cherry, florals, some spice and nice acidity. Give it a few years.

Raspberries, red cherries and cranberries on the nose. Also green herbs, but in a good way to give some complexity. With air a beautiful tone of red violets also emerges. This is a much more structured and classic wine compared to the 2020-vintage. Personally I prefer this style. Medium plus acidity and medium length. Good effort for a BR.

This pours pale ruby with hints of pink. The nose is fairly simple and straightforward showing cranberry, raspberry, green leaf, crushed rock, and a touch of sawdust. The palate is light and lean with significant tart cranberry character on the mid-palate. Tannin is medium minus with medium plus tart acid. The finish fizzles out a tad short with some green leafy character rounding things out. Overall, I had expected more. While light, elegant and red fruited, which are pluses for …

Quite dark fruited an£ reasonably dense, certainly more substance than I was expecting for the vintage. Some dark gloss needing a shake. Didn’t really get a chance to open up before the bottle was emptied. ***
