Smells of ripe fruit and some oak chips. Paso Cab, the only juice they buy. 25% Malbec and Petite Verdot in there as well. And yes, there is American oak on it, used, maybe not chips then. Blue fruit and spice. Works at $16 or so.

Blackberry, smooth, dark fruit. Lacked a little complexity towards the finish. However, overall, pleasantly surprised by the flavor along with the value for the price point. Good value to pair with a casual burger/steak dinner.
