Domaine Dubost Brouilly Cuvée de Vieilles Vignes

Ferrous blood notes interlaced with darkberry aromatics. Big strawberry and blackberry on the palate. A little less precision then the Guy Breton Cote de Brouilly tasted alongside, but still tasty.

Mature and deep red berries and sweet spices. Fruit driven medium body with well integrated tannins and good fresh acid. Some metallic mineral notes on day two adds complexity. Good lenght.

Medium to dark purple in color. Nose features a lot of dark fruit combined with earth. Palate was similar. Fruit was there but not overpowering. Earthy notes were intertwined nicely and dominated the finish. Felt like a very dense and grippy beaujolais but tannins were not overwhelming.
