Super stinky on day two. Like kinda farty stinky. Weird.

Ramato style Pinot Grigio - but forget about Friuli, we're in the Edna Valley! This wine tastes exactly how you would imagine. Everything about it speaks to the California sun and the use of oak. Speaking of, this has 6 month aging in French oak and Acacia barrels. I am not sure I've ever had a wine aged in Acacia before, so that's cool too. Perfect subtle bite pairs well with wings on a hot summer evening

A little bit funky, a little bit green, and a bit of bitterness, which which makes it kinda interesting.

This is a nice change. Old school wine. A nice way to enjoy Pinot Grigio in a new way

Weirdly, smelled somewhat like cheese when I opened the bottle. As the wine opened up that mellowed more and the smell became saltier, and the flavour developed a pineapple taste. Very nice, great value for money.

It was all fine and tasty with Sabina this time around until she noticed I was drinking Vega Sicilia Unico, and then this wasn't so fine and tasty anymore.

Sabina didn't like it all that much, but she was comparing it to Domaine Tempier Rose. I liked it for its spice, kick and grip.

I like the smell of this one. Full on the palate, nicely Romato actually. At $20 that is a nice Romato.
