Cycles Gladiator Petite Sirah Lodi

Deep ruby / purple hue; PnP: inky sweet blue fruit nose with a hint of jasmine and cinnamon. Exploding bright fruit, watermelon, black currant, heavy chocolate ganache, very long after taste. Simply delicious! Not much tannin left, I would consider this its peak.

sweet cherry, a lot of alcohol, spices, dry, wood, syrup.

Delicious wine, very soft taste, herbs, little bit sweet, medium finish. Nice with lamb of duck or cheese.

The legs are Medium. It tastes like Chocolate, and Blackberry. The body is Medium/Full. The wine has Round texture. The wine finishes Medium. 1 week later, just bought a few bottles extra. nice!

Overly jammy and syrupy

Inky purple. Aroma of currants. Taste similar but slightly bitter. Short unimpressive finish. 3/5/4/1/1 (14)

Color is inky dark, nose is mostly blueberry preserves with some sweetness. Palate is mildly tannic with some dark fruit and finishes slightly chalky. A descent wine overall and a great value at $8. Of the 3 CG wines I have tried this is better than the cab. And 100x better than the zin. Which I found to be undrinkable.

First glass pop and pour was not great. Couldn't get a good read on the flavors. Has the typical deep purple P.S. color. Second glass through an aerator and caught some blueberry pie and chalk. Short finish. Definitely drinkable but not a great wine by any means.

Decanted 2 hrs. ahead. Nearly opaque purple color. Nice nose of black pepper, dried herbs, cassis, blueberries. Strong & extracted on the palate, with full body carrying flavors of iron filings and black fruits with good acid backbone. Finishes with orange peel over abundant but velvety tannins. This is a Lodi wine, but it lacks the syrup character that I often notice (and enjoy) in those bottles; deep acidity compensates. It's for sure recognizable as Petite Sirah too. I look …
