Bouteille et bouchon en parfaite condition. Into the neck. Non carafé. Couleur pourpre orangé. Nez sur le menthol, le cuir, la prune. En bouche, le vin est de constitution moyenne, plutôt léger (12.5) ce qui fait du bien..., équilibré. La finale est toutefois trop courte. A terminer.

Typical claret color with a bit of brown at the edge. No fruit either in the nose or in the flavor, only herbal notes, best described as eucalyptus. Little depth or complexity, with balance somewhat off. The wine should have been drunk several years earlier, but I doubt that it would have ever been compelling.

Cata - Bordeaux Right Bank (Casa Santiago & Sandra) : A good wine that lacks the extract, concentration and focus of a great one. From the color and nose, I can tell this was well kept. Very mellow, didn't open up even after a couple of hours. Subtle nose of wet ash, cassis and wet forest. Brief finish. Overall a pleasant experience. It just left me yearning for a little more.

Had the wonderful smell of a bottle aged 14 years. Definitely past its prime but still drinking well none the less.. Paired perfectly with my ribeye steak. I have another bottle to go but not planning to drink that one. Would definitely buy more if the price fell a little. Currently priced at $50. A little too high for this bottle.

Slightly fresher than the last bottle but still too thin and acidic - disappointing

Good, relatively fresh aroma but very disappointing on the palate. This may never have been a great St Emilion but this bottle was certainly past its sell-by date.
