Sans Liege Grenache Groundwork

Still drinking nicely, but I would consume any remaining in the near term.

Color has shifted to a from a pale salmon to a pale amber. Fruit has receded some. Still pleasant but probably past its prime.

Smell and taste reminiscent of cantaloupe melon.

orange-ish colour and intriguing on the nose and palate with floral aromas, citric pith, green herbs and bubblegum (!!). refreshing and juice-like in its accessibility when chilled; the twin pithy and saline veins balance out the fruitiness, and all of it has a massive acidic lift. wow!

Cranberry, strawberry and watermelon. Fun, intriguing wine.

Salted strawberries. In a great way.
