This wine was much better with the food I prepared last night. I had this with Dijon rosemary rack of lamb, quinoa tabbouleh salad, and roasted broccolini. The wood that was pronounced while drinking this alone was much tamer with the lamb.

Although it isn’t flawed, I was hoping for something more similar to the Aux Grands Liards Vielles Vignes which I really enjoyed. There is a very overwhelming vanilla nose and oak palate that detracts from the fruit and acid of this wine.

Love this wine for $21. Beautiful fruit.
