Garnet with light orange hue in thin layers. The nose is first totally muted and even with air it only gives very low intense notes of berry fruit and flowers with damp earth. On the palate it shows more intensity, but not more than just good. If this isn't an off-bottle (and there is no indication of that), it was on a fast evolutionary track in the last years. 5/10/15/5. 85 points.

No detailed notes. Colour is a bit more advanced than described in my note from 02/04/2016. Good complexity, but also maybe a bit dominated by scents and flavors from aging in oak, so for that reason not everybodies darling, I guess. 5/12/17/8. -2025 + if stored in a cool cellar since release.

Went well with pot roast. Dark fruits. Best after 2 to three nights having been opened

still purple with no signs of aging. Not decanted. At first typical tempranillo aged in oak. Good poise, reduced and a little bit closed, but very good to excellent. One day later (open and half drunk bottle) the oak is even less evident then 24 h ago and the fruit is dominating. Cherry, black currant, coffee, minerals, concentrated and with good structure and well integrated tannins and good length. This is still on the young side. -2025+ A real bargain …

Laurel, lychee. Needs two hours of oxygen. Uncompromising tannins. Nice, overall, but I was a bit taken aback by the somewhat bitter finish. Next day, drinking the second half of the bottle: hazelnut, warmth that wasn't there yesterday, and the bitterness is gone. Upped from 84 to 86 points.

Med to full bodied with well integrated tannins. Smooth mouthfeel. Dark fruit and very slight herbs. Drinks above its price point.

Dark and dense, lots of black cherries on the nose alongside smoke, spice, dried orange peel and a distinct minerality. Full-bodied, dry, with present but well integrated tannins. Even though it tends to slightly fall apart towards the finish, this a pretty great QPR.

A big wine, smoke and red fruit. Some minerality, and good depth. I was looking for a 90+ point wine in $ 15 range and this is a good one.

Good wine, but maybe a little one dimensional. Not big layers of anything, but balanced. Could use something to stand out.

Well balanced bouquet, and also smooth in the mouth. You can taste a bit of alcohol in the end.

Barbecue at home with Alexandre, Maria Paula and Banks : I still surprise with this wine: it is the greatest value for money of my cellar! Round and intense, with a modern taste. Excelent!

Well balanced taste. Discrete red fruit fragrance. Flavor very representative of Tempranillo grape wine, with a hint of old leather.

Nose of raw eggplant, chlorophyll, red grape, some cocoa. Smelled notably of Robitussin upon opening, but dissipated with decant. Tastes of cooked red berries, cocoa nibs, black pepper, red bell pepper, lots of earth - almost mud. Still some artificial cherry. Mouth-filling, long finish, but too processed.
