Very drinkable. High acid is integrated well with ripe orchard and citrus, and some mild lime pith bitterness. Terrific value. Good.

An uncommon grape. Not much on the nose. Herby (fennel, maybe dill), melon peel. Certainly refreshing. Serve it cold from the fridge.

Not loads of character but plenty of concentration of apple, pear, grapefruit and a green streak of tomato leaf. A good refreshing wine.

Tasted blind, thought it was a Pessac Leognan Blanc. The wine shows a pale lemon colour with pronounced aromas of citrus fruits (grapefruit, lemon), green apple, subtle white peach, delicate herbal notes (fresh-cut grass, nettle), and restrained lees-derived characteristics (biscuit, yeast). On the palate, it displays medium-plus acidity, medium body, moderate alcohol (13%), and clear mineral undertones (wet stone). Good quality, I’d definitely pay two times more for this (it’s about 10 EUR).

By the glass at Riu Palace Oasis, Maspalomas, Gran Canaria. Bright light to medium lemon colour. Citrus, lime, peach, tropical notes, pineapple, and grassy/herbaceous notes, with fresh, medium level acidity and good length. Medium- to light-bodied, with pleasant light bitterness on the finish. The aromatic profile of this 2023 is astonishingly similar to Sauvignon Blancs, just with lower acidity. I suggest to drink this wine young, while the fruit is still fresh.

Tastes a bit spoofy - a bit of cheap oak, poorly integrated acid, and a simple yellow raisin and green apple flavor. Still, it's got some energy and isn't offensive. you can do a lot worse for $9.

Cant go wrong with Verdejo and shellfish. Marques de Riscal started to replant the Verdejo variety in 1972 and significantly influenced that Rueda region got DO status in 1980. Floral nose, pronounced acidic and nice peppery finish. Price is unbeatable.

Youthful greenish color. Very lush, ripe and sweet nose with primary, fruity aromas of peach, some banana and a hint of pear and pear drops. The sweet nose leads to expect similar kind of flavors, but the palate is surprisingly light, dry, crisp and with good acid zip.
