Wow - this was really special. Never had a silvaner of this quality. Exctremely clean - everything perfectly in balance

Took an hour to relax and show the beautiful wet rock, warm soice, subtle smoke and lots of citrus on the nose, similar palate that has really gone d depth, quite saline, lots of aci tans a long finish

What an amazing rendition of Silvaner. Served blind this was just an amazing feat, beautiful nose, tension on the palate. We were split half and half between this being a Burgundy (although the acidity structure didn't quite fit) and a Riesling (which usually comes across a bit more aromatic). This is the last bottling for me to try in the trio of wines made in collaboration by two young and highly talented winemakers, in Felix Keller and Philipp Giegerich in the noble effort to celebrate the old vines on the steeply terraced vineyard of Klingenberger Schlossberg in the Franken.
