This was oustanding, wish I had more!

Light bodied. Bright red fruit flavors- strawberry and cherry on the front palate, cranberry on the back palate. Great value at $20.

100% Pinot Noir primarily (90%) from estate vineyards on hillsides at 200-400 ft with shallow clay to thin, gravelly loam soils. Manual harvest. De-stemmed but not crushed. 4-day cold soak in open top stainless steel tanks. 50% fermented with native yeasts and 50% with commercial yeast with three punchdowns a day. Carneros pinot is a real go-to for me - the best value pinot out there. I love its spicy, loamy acidity. The aromas were of cherries, raspberries, dried herbs and earth tones. The flavors lined up well with the nose - cherries, raspberries, some pomegranate.

And then a touch of roasted fruit too. Or maybe not. Just some big toast on it. Kinda a bit of a rosehip thing going on.

Delicate as you’d expect. Vibrant red fruit on the palate.

Tart red fruit, strawberry, raspberry, and cranberry. Medium acidity and light spice. Solid for $20. Just wish it had a little more body.

Light, a touch of tobacco.
