Famille Vincent Pouilly-Fuissé Les Combettes Château de Fuissé

Probably would have been better a few years ago, but not bad. Certainly tastes like a nice old white burgundy, decent body, mellow, a little buttery, some caramel, yet still some acidity, lemons, etc.

Very good. Could have been from cote d'or. Quite mineral. Lovely balance.

Quite good for its level. Needed time to open up. Became better and better during three hours. Medium bodied. Good balance. Typical burgundy aromas.

Good medium range color; intriguing floral nose of spiced apple, a mix of richness and freshness - more like a French hybrid than a chard, a touch of buttered popcorn; nicely balanced palate, clearly chard to taste; less acid than I expected but again fairly rich and long; good fruit & finish. Nicely done overall.
