Amana Skiers: Pw/chilled. Stunning stuff. Clear, light/med straw color. Huge nose with oak, chalk, stone. BK makes just superb Chardonnay. This is a good a VY rivaling Sobranes, my favorite. Clean, fruity, light oak and vanilla, lots of sharp juicy fruit with excellent balance. Nothing off, long finish. $61 winery direct.

A solid expression of the Gap's site, reminding me a bit of the Kosta Browne 4-Barrel program (though not as rich or oak infused), this Black Kite decidedly pushes out focused and determined flavors of lemon yellow citrus, candied ginger, tropical fruit, and the slightest kiss of brioche and honey. Stunning white wine - oaks and butter but not too much. Super complex. Drank it so fast i could jot down any notes. Def worth drinking and having.
