Perhaps much too young or missed a proper dark chocolate ...

Deep gold, and slightly cloudy. Can't quite place the nose, but something madeira like - burnt sugar / caramel, nuts and orange peel. Very well balanced in the mouth - bitter oranges and marzipan; very sweet but plenty of acid to counter this, which works quite well. Good length of finish but it seems a little muddled.

2019 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2019-9/28/2019 (Portugal) : Bottled in 2017. Deep, rich amber-orange in color. Clear. Noticeable oxidation (in a good way) and spirit on the nose, with a touch of cocoa powder and light herbs. Still some fruit character and really bright acidity. Very long finish.

2019 FTLOP Harvest Tour; 9/19/2019-9/28/2019 (Portugal) : Bottled in 2019. Burnt umber center with yellow edges. Clear. Vanilla, wood, and a small whiff of “little vinegar” notes (not unpleasant or a fault) on the nose. Orange and some honey on the palate. Good, structured tannins on the very long finish.

Sorry to disagree with others here, but this is excellent. We visited their tasting room in Portugal, and this is an amazing place. Seriously, they make great port.

Served right out of the fridge. Elegant, fresh and nutty, light and sustainable, nice bitter note, long finish. Everything fits together, it's easy drinking but also quite complex and all in all just gorgeous.

Efter 24 timers iltning, er der sket en klar forbedring... Nu meget mere blød og rund smag. Den er dog stadigvæk meget tynd, og mangler sødme.

Lige fra flasken: Sprittet og tynd konsistens. Ikke nok sødme.

Light garner much lighter than expected for this age. Tastes like a tawny with some salty fluid infusion.

Pocas Colheita Wines (Portvinsklubben 1981) : Creamy red currant and raspberry fruit with a touch of coffee. Nice and delicate flavors but the alcohol is simply overpowering everything. Sweet and nice structure.

Pocas Colheita Wines (Portvinsklubben 1981) : Lovely butterscotch flavors with a touch of coffee beans. Has a nice raspberry fruit and is just lovely to drink. Powerful and cleansing acidity. Lovely and nicely developed wine.

2016 Port Harvest Tour; 9/18/2016-9/25/2016 (Portugal) : Bottled in 20116. Light amber in color. Heat on the nose. Mahogany and some caramel notes on the nose. Concentrated maple and some spirit on the palate. Unctuous mouthfeel, with a very long finish.

Purchased this some time ago (2003 according to my notes) in Lisbon. Drank very nicely over a week or so. Sweet it's port) , but not cloying or two sweet. Some nice acidity to balance. Very enjoyable.

Bottled 2013. Lively, reddish tawny colour; undemonstrative nose, light and slightly powdery, a bit hollow, distinctly unimpressive for a 21 year old Colheita; bright and lively palate, medium sweet, simple flavours, lacks intensity and oomph, on the weak side; short. Cheap for a 21 YO Colheita at € 17, but I would happily pay a bit more for a wine that actually does what it says on the tin.

Nice nose that reminded me of a 1986 Dow's Quinta do Bofim (SQVP). Nice sweet, light bodied white port. A bit of heat at first, which at first was a bit of a distraction. After a short time it lessened and was a very enjoyable port. even though the bottle says "serve room temperature" I suggest you chill at bit first.

A fairly rich white Port, the Porto Pocas offers aromas of core fruits with a whisper of hazelnuts; almost full-bodied on the palate; fine example of the genre! Serve chilled
