Paired really well with a broasted chicken dinner.

Something is not quite right. The scent is floral, citrus and slightly musty. The taste is a bit too tart, with grapefruit, crab apple and mineral flavor. Maybe it has oxidized; the more I drink of it the more it reminds me of vermouth.

A little sharp. Needs some fat or cheese to offset it.

Wonderful balance and mouth feel. Very subtle nose, hinting at many things yet not explicitly only one. The citrus is there, but subdued. A very clean minerality on the nose. The citrus and flintiness on the palate is balanced by a subtle honey sweetness.

Virginia vs. The World - A Blind Taste-Off (Washington Wine Academy) : Complex on the nose, offering a mix of orange blossom, honeysuckle, flinty minerals and a note of kiwi. Zestier than the other wines, with great acidic cut. Flavors of lemon curd, green apple and pear fruit, highlighted by subtle cream and nutty flavors. Long, mineral-laden finish. This was my favorite wine of the flight, and the group's as well. Might be a little unfair to the other wines …

Has a corked scent (obviously a bad bottle) overpowering somewhat thin, lemon, green apple, mineral and sea salt flavors with nice acidity..

Lemon, golden and green apples, generous minerality, touch of vanilla. Great cohesion and balance, clean and crisp but with just the right dose of richness, and just plain tasty.

Very interesting nose of sweet/sour lemon, sea spray, perfume, and creme fresh. The dichotomy continues on the palate with ripe yet tart apples and sweet lemon. A savory side emerges, incorporating fresh cut hay, dried herbs adding to a finish of minerals, vanilla, and lemon/lime acidity. This is perhaps a bit ripe initially, but later recovers nicely with a refreshing finish. This is obviously young, and has nice potential for the future. R&m 89+

Soil is very simmilar to Chablis in this vineyard. Steely and mineral. Intense. Like Chabis but to me more like a very well made Montagny. This is really good. Complex and pornouced nose. Great Chardonnay crispness through the palate.

I've really enjoyed the reds from this producer, and found them to offer a lot for the price. I was excited to try this white Burgundy. Aromas: lots of orange blossom, some honeysuckle, a bit of creme brulee and a shot of flint and minerals. The palate is sleek and sexy, with a backbone of fresh acid. I love the lemon curd and green apple fruit, which tastes pure and zingy. There's just enough cream and nutty flavors for my …

People were making easy comparisons to Puligny and 2010 will be a beautiful vintage. Not as much fruit as '09 but much prettier and elegant with acidity that will be excellent for cellar potential. This domaine is one to watch and fill your cellar with!

A very flinty chardonnay with expressive lemon tones and white florals. Had great finesse and minerality.
