A very nice Pessac-Léognan, considering the price range: colour, nose and palate. After 7 years and even more the third day after opening, the wine shows notes of various citrus fruits, even a bit bergamote, of Azorean pineapple and traces of mid ripe pears. The last glass shows some complexity, with a touch of stone in the aftertaste. Well made!

생각한것보다 나쁘지않았음 크게 튀지 않믄 산도였고 부싯돌, 열대과일향이 은은히 남 복잡적이지는 못하는 저렴이지만 음식과 함께 하기에 부담없고 괜찮았다

This gets a Lower score this time because the wine has barnyard funk on the nose. Like a cow farted in the area around u. Still drinking well Good structure for the price I think the funk will blow off after getting some air. On da palate it’s soft flavored an mineral driven in my opinion. Fruit doesn’t really show up but it’s there. Mouth watering as far as acidity goes an seems like there’s some tannic structure on my …

Definitely surprised me. I thought this wine would be an underperformer. Low n behold I was shocked. Went excellent with seafood. This gets 2 thumbs up for price an deliverance.

Pure, cool, and lemon fruited. Plenty of freshness and purity with a slightly saline finish. Brilliant foursquare Pessac which I understand was about EUR12 a bottle.

Although festooned with a Médaille d'Or from a Wine Challenge, I liked this less than some previous vintages. Drunk over two evenings. On the first it was quite agreeably citrus and refreshing with some minerals but a bit bland and somewhat disfigured for me by more vanilla notes from its élevage than I like. On the second evening it seemed to have taken on a bit more weight and complexity and was less bland though the vanilla was still poking …

Bright, crisp, fresh, sweet, crunchy, yellow citrus with floral and white peach accents. This will be great on release. Though it will be best in its youth for all of its vibrant citrus characteristics.

90 vvPunkte (100% Sauvignon Blanc, 13%. 2022-2029 vvWine.ch

Without a side by side comparison this seems very like my memory and notes of previous vintages, namely lively quite savoury fruit, including grapefruit and pineapple, minerals, underlying gras, juicy acidity and quite firm finish. Good wine and very friendly price of c.€8.

Sweet yellow citrus in an early-drinking style, makes this a nice, lemony, summer, pool side quaffer. 87 Pts

This wine continues to please and has become more focussed and mineral than I recall from previous bottles. I will pick up more bottles if I see them around at c.€11 or even a bit more. Good.

Loved it during the wine tasting at Cora's in France; but did not care that much for the first bottle we opened at home. I'm hoping it was just one bad bottle, but we'll see. Almost kind of a sour taste to it. Even though it's a white, I thought I'd try pouring the second glass and letting it air for about 30 minutes. No improvement. Disappointing.

Classic SB aromas of cut grass and gooseberry. Tart, bitter, underripe fruit flavors but refershing all the same. I would think ideal with sushi - on its own a bit austere but perhaps it needs more time to mellow out?

I liked this bottle better than the previous some 6 months ago. Most of the description still applies but there seemed to be more complexity. Passage of time, mood or pairing? I would find it difficult to guess that this is 100% SB. Good+ wine and good QPR for Pessac-Léognan at <€11.

This wine was extremely appealing at first with its lively fruit, mostly grapefruit and pineapple, its minerals, underlying gras , juicy acidity and slightly smoky finish. However, like most wine from 100% SB, it seemed increasingly simplistic as the bottle progressed and was quite easy to leave unfinished. Good though.

Perhaps the Sauvignon Blanc is just a bit underripe? But overall there is such pleasing freshness that - especially after all those reds - this is just delicious! Bravo!
