Pours a deep yellow. It almost looks like an orange wine. Think this is marketed as a "natty" Muscadet...thankfully without the flaws often seen in that category. Cheese rind, lemon juice, tart apple juice (cider, like the other reviewer says!), white grape juice (the one fruit a wine can never smell/taste like!), nuts and rotten eggs on the nose. A touch cidery, but the fruit is very pretty. Aromas of crab apple, lemon, green melon, lettuce, wet stones... crisp and zippy on the palate, tart apple notes are prominant, again slightly cidery and oxidative, juicy though and very pure, lots of saline and mineral nuance through the finish. Nice
