Smooth, fresh approach, sweet finish.

Very nice. Light. Slight apple.

Day after note, guest brought to a dinner party Fine bubbles, the color is deep yellow, with some pink hues, maybe I see some Pinot grape (bottle does not provide varietal info). Nice delicate bubbles and great mouth feel. Nutty, nice fruit and great balance. Nice depth, very enjoyable. I will be buying a few for the house.

A very old bottle, prob mid 90s. Firms my position that i generally prefer aged NV champers to fresh/new. Astoundingly vibrant.

I had this with General Tso's chicken (too spicy...had to take notes after eating) on 1/29/17. It had a clean, fresh and expressive bouquet of green apple, pear, brioche and mineral aromas. The palate was fresh and dry with flavors of apple, pear, bread, orange peel and minerals.

Impressive yeasty nose. Good acid and flavors of green apples. A bit of a creamy mouth feel. Nice long lasting bubbles. Was a very good match for yam and mushroom curry.

75% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay, 5% Meunier. Looks good on paper, but it's just OK right now. Fruit seems a bit thin, acidity a bit too sharp. Not bad, but uninspiring.

Champagne Drappier Carte Blanche Brut NV: Gold in color with a nose featuring more yeasty aromas than its Carte d’Or sibling. As well, there are some distinct scents of green apple peels, fresh bread, minerals, Mirabelle plums and cake. Fine, medium-sized bubbles gently dancing in the glass. Medium-bodied with notes of pears and honeydew on the palate, followed by abundant minerals, roasted almonds, Asian pear with medium-plus acidity and hints of sour cream lingering on the long and classy finish. …

Lightstyled and thin. Also quite simple. Not up to Champagne standard.

Drukket til en variert meny med scampi, kamskjell, fiskesuppe, reinsdyr og sjokoladedessert. Passet best til de tre første rettene. En frisk og god champagne. Ikke for søt. Gode små bobler.

Compares to Vevuve Cliquot except a bit darker in color, a bit more toasty and the mouse is a bit less refined. Also slightly less expensive. As a test we sampled it out of champagne and traditional wine glasses. The taste was more elegant out of the flutes and the traditional wine glasses brought the toastiness to the forefront

I wasn't expecting much, but a couple of years in my cellar have taken the edge off and added some complexity and a bit of toast..very nice. 18 Euros in the local wine shop, bargainous!

Rich, round, flinty and pleasant

Perfectly fine but non-distinctive champagne. High effervescence, with well balanced acidity and green apple and hints of bread and slightly oxidative finish. Perfectly fine, just nothing particularly memorable or distinctive.

Appley note, good golden straw colour, clean, crisp, uncomplicated and satisfying

Delicious brut NV champagne. Very elegant with a remarkable toasted bread notes and fine acidity.

Decent Champagne. On the first day it was very tight, sharp and yeasty, far better the next day. The two bottles I had last year were better than this one, has the base vintage of the base wine changed?

The nose light gold colored wine is explosive with rich toast, fluffy white chocolate, herb, grapefruit, bright green apple, malting yeast, and minerality. The mouth on this medium bodied wine is super rich with an energizer bunny small bubble mousse, more toast and brioche, nice yeast, rich herb, super bright and tart green apple that mellows down to a creamy apple sauce, and grapefruit. Intense baked apple and toasty notes on the nose. Good acidity on the palate with medium concentration but hampered by a slightly bitter finish. Still good QPR.

Light yellow with a hint of pink/orange color. Big nose, sweet bakery aromas, wet limestone and lime. The taste is much more fresh and lively than the nose. Good acidity, hints of minerals and a good finish. Taste is better than the nose.

(from 375) Initially a bit coarse and sharp, but it was probably due to too low temperature which accentuated the acidity while the fruit was very mute. After some air and a slight increase in temperature the nice pinot notes kicks in. A nice NV Brut for the price with good concentration and a very long finish; although not as good as my previous bottle (normal).

Nice round taste, not overly complex but interesting enough...great value, we just bought a ton of this for our daughter's wedding, should be perfect!

Very mineral, very fresh, perfect mousse, long, balanced and pure.
