Familli Grati Vin Santo del Chianti Rùfina

Brown sugar, charcoal, almonds, wood oil, varnish and mushrooms on the nose. Sweet, round and full of dried fruit on the palate. Apricotty and sunny with fine acidity and a bit of astringency to make it balanced. Long and significantly drier finish. Very nice effort.

On the nose rancio notes and almonds.Light to medium bodied moderately sweet palate giving rancio notes,some nutty flavors and hints of toffee.A nicely balanced,beautiful dessert wine.

Amber brown with orange highlights. Developed on the nose with semi-intense dried fruit, rancio and toasty almond character. Moderately sweet (65 g/l RS) and medium bodied, well carried by the acidity. Some oxidativeness, toasty brown sugar and charcoaly rancio style. Good length. A mighty nice rustic Vin Santo.
