Good, but probably past its peak. Straw color, tending toward yellow. Not decanted. Good acid and tannin, full bodied in the mouth. Initially closed, with a faint hint of maderization, but about an hour after opening, the flavors of honey and citrus balance the acid and tannin, suggesting the true character of what the wine could be. Moderately long finish.

Bright disc. Pale straw with watery rim. Intense nose showing minerals, citrus, vanilla and floral aromas. Medium-bodied on the palate, with crisp acidity and similar flavors as the nose. Long, smooth finish. Give this one time...it will be worth the wait.
