Robledo Family Winery Tempranillo The Seven Brothers

Very nice tempranillo. Not as earthy or dusty as other experiences with the varietal, but I thought it had a nice fruit component. To be honest it tasted more like a Bordeaux Blend, but I thought it was delicious. Soft, well rounded tannins on the palate. Strawberry and black cherry on the palate as well. The finish was average. I would buy this again.

Opened to pair with a pork tenderloin. It wasn't a great pairing (we actually switched over to a pinot blanc), but the wine was very tasty. Light in body with a touch of acidity, enough fruit and a bit of smokiness...enjoyed it that night and the next day - was still good then too.
