Perissos Vineyard and Winery Syrah

Flush nose but not much character, but still cold from cellar. Rich decadent full fruit forward flavors and mouthfeel; woody underbrush hiding in the background which should come out once the fruit integrates. Smooth and supple, but with enough acid to age. Rummy character that should fade as the wine develops. Very enjoyable. Nose stayed closed closed even as it warmed, though showing a touch of heat. S.Treu 5/26/13.
