Bodegas Salentein Merlot El Portillo

Color light and slight brick hue. Medium nose shows orange peel, dried cherry, mesquite, raspberry, cranberry. Palate is fresher than nose, bing cherry, vanilla, baking spice, raspberry, potpourri, hint of earth in the medium light tannins. Acidity medium plus, light body, medium alcohol (13%). Very nice value.
