Mold on the cork which was not on any of the other bottles that had for my previous order and the wine tasted like it had been overheated and was not very good. This is all I had and another bottle about a week or so before and both were fantastic. But I do have concerns about the fact that it's still very tannic and I'm not sure if it has enough fruits to back up the tannins. This is the Cabernet dominant blend which is much more tannic tight and structured than the Merlot dominant blend. The S which is the Merlot dominant one is drinking well now. This one here though the Cabernet dominant blend it needs time. Likely best from 2026 to 2036. Definitely need some aging. I notice I erroneously put 79 points, that was a mistake. 91-92 is more accurate

93+. Dark color. Bouquet of earth, dark fruit, minerals. Good concentration, good fruit, good balance, good structure and lots of tannins. Flavors of dark fruits, earth, minerals, stone, flint. Very tight and youthful unlike the more evolved S by Luchey-Halde that I had side by side with this (for the 2nd time). This has a way to go until peak. Totally up my alley. Great bordeaux blend, merlot dominant. great balance and drinking beautifully. dark fruit, forest floor, a hint of lemongrass/herbs, moderate tannins and moderate+ length finish. Fair/good (somewhat expensive) QPR.
