Honeyed, sharp pineapple, hay and lemon - I think the texture and balance on the palate has really come together in the last couple of years- it's really coherent and fresh enough with concentration and ripeness offset by juicy, integrated acidity.

Lovely deep gold colour. The nose is really complex - spiced apple, confit lemon, stone fruit and a hint of sour pineapple as well. Palate is not as complex, but similar notes. Medium acidity, which is maybe the only negative. Doesn’t detract from the wine as it fits with the richness overall, but personally I could handle a bit more acidity. Finish is long and warming. Great wine.

Pure gold. Rich, honeyed orchard fruit, toast and flint. Lifted floral notes and lemon pith. Medium bodied with vibrant acidity. Long, spiced apple finish. Excellent now but should age well for a few more years.

TWS North London - Loire (Must & Lees, N1) : My dry white of the night (DWWOTN...)- honeyed, ripe lemon confit and white peach with a touch of hay. Cloying? Not a chance - beautiful Chenin acidity to the rescue: great breadth, a wonderful balance of dry richness with freshness and verticality. Excellent.

TWS North London; Loire at Must & Lees (Must & Lees, N1) : Medium nose. White stone fruit and lemon zest initially, but definitely some riper peach/pineapple also there. Comparatively muted acidity but still all very well balanced. I suspect that I am underappreciating this.

Loire Wines of North London (Must & Lees) : Gentle, balanced, floral nose. Much punchier on the palate, which was rather exotic, perfectly put together and guided the taster seamlessly towards the juicy, moreish finish. A gorgeous wine.

Pas le meilleur tailles loups bu. On sent bien le chemin, mais ca manque un peu de tension, il y a du gras, du coing, mais c’est pas 100% integre. À voir pour la prochaine.

Just wonderful. Pop and pour. At first, apple and popcorn. Then after a hour, apricot came through. Just wished I had a mature vintage of this wine...

Monthly tasting club "The Tasting Club": Chenin Blanc (@ SB) : Clear and fairly dark yellow. In the bouquet some butter. On the palate pear, melon, apples, almonds and citrus. Firm acidity, pleasant bitterness and a good length. I have the impression the wine can improve a bit with one or two years of cellaring.

Für jemanden wie mich der sich mit Chenin etwas schwerer tut, einer der beeindruckendsten Chenins überhaupt. Super! Enorme Säure.

Clear, light golden yellow. Medium+ developing nose, pears, musty. This dry wine needs air to open up. When it does, it shows high acidity, yellow fruit, some honey notes, spiciness. Definitively not for everyone, but who likes Chenin, will really love this wine. Has years ahead and will continue to develop.
