I have no idea how to rate this wine...so I won't. Unlike anything else I've had - liquified red hot candies intermingled with funk and flowers. Powerful, but constantly changing over the 3 nights it was sampled...but always with that sweet and spicy note.

Smells of south (OK, its not very descriptive, but was my association, as one living in the north), of dark berries, cedar wood, even a hint of tobacco. Round and juicy taste, loooooong! Once can feel the 14% alc, but everything is embedded in an already smooth tannin structure. Great now, with a few years to go!

Medium bodied; slightly oaked and generally pleasant wine.

Enjoyable wine - dark fruit, leather, some tobacco. A little garrigue.

very enjoyable. a little simple though... dark color, sweet ripe fruits roll out of the glass. let's see what it turns out to be in a few years.

Compared to the 2004, this was riper, hotter, simpler. Drank better with a little chill. Nice fruity summertime party quaffer at 60 degrees. Slightly disappointing.

Better than the 2004, but still not worth the price IMHO. A little hot and out of balance. A fair amount of fruit. We'll see what happens to the next one over time.

Very young, but promising. I'm going to wait a couple years before opening another.
