A new batch for me (with different label style). This one apparently 100% from the 2020 harvest. Disgorged (according to a very faint etching on the bottle) 21-22/09/2025; 4g/l dosage. Obviously this is a very recent disgorgement, and on first opening the wine is quite aggressively gassy and somewhat tart on the palate. But after 30-45 minutes of air it settles down, and then it's in line with my previous TN from an earlier batch.

This is an extraordinary champagne. The colour is that of a light red wine (like an Arbois). 100% Meunier, with the colour due to skin contact during pressing, rather than from blending red wine. No disgorgment date given; dosage 4g/l. The nose is rather reticent - with lots of swirling hints of slatey minerality and some very dark blue fruit can be teased out.
