Ca' Di Pesa Chianti Classico

This bottle was much more advanced than our last bottle, approximately a year ago, despite the cork appearing to be in great shape. Lots of tertiary notes on the nose, with some also appearing on the palate after the first hour open. Wish I had opened it significantly earlier.

A touch rustic on the nose but not on the palate. I’m new to this producer but really enjoyed this Chianti with some homemade pasta fagioli for a simple Christmas Eve dinner.

Nice Chianti Classico. P preferred to Bouvier Marsannay drunk alongside. Certainly a pleasant drink and I would buy again, but the CT scores so far (93.5) seem a bit aggressive to me.

Really, really enjoyable. Dark fruit, mostly black, some red. Soil. Some oak. The quality of the fruit comes through. Beautiful. Way too easy to drink, the kind of wine I can drink for hours over a meal with friends. A fantastic Chianti Classico and great value for the quality. Even more enjoyable with food, but doesn’t need a meal with it to be a great glass of wine.

Absolutely terrific Chianti Classico. Deep ruby color, red and dark fruit notes on the nose, full bodied with medium tanins, and an impressive finish. Wonderful
