Lots of bold oak on the nose, lemon curd, popcorn - good. Not that sophisticated but passable for the price.

Nose of citrus and flowers, underpinned by buttery oak. Well-put together, the nose as it should be. Full on the palate, if anything a hair low on the acidity but doesn't come off as flabby. I'm probably just being picky. Much more buttery on the palate with a nice finish where the citrus again takes the fore. Needs a couple of years to really shine, I'd think. 3.5-4/5
