Plum, cola, cherry dominant wine. Well integrated 8 years on now. Good structure and fine tannins but the cola leaves me cold. Still has life in it - another 3 years at least.

Decanted for an hour. Quite dark in colour. The nose has a bit of spice and a little development showing. The flavours are quite concentrated, dark berries, cola, some more soft spice & decent acidity. The tannins have pretty much melted away and it's got a nice length with a tasty finish. Definitely new world Pinot and a decent version here.

Colour: dark for a Pinot, but with bright edges. Nose: spices, licorice, wood and red berries. Palate: spicy at first, and with some body for a Pinot, it's still almost elegant. There is red fruit (cherry and lingonberry), some black fruit, toast, very smooth tannins and a good, underlying acid. Drink or keep!

This is good. Red fruit, beginning to get some gaminess. Everything I want from a NZ pinot.

This is an excellent NZ Pinot, great typicity and wonderful flavour, really tasty - Dark, medium/full bodied with a nose of cherry, cranberry, cola, spice and vanilla, very well structured and balanced, complex, sweet and sour on the palate with terrific length, nice and great value in the grand scheme (93 Points).

quite interesting as I was expecting a much sweeter fruited nose - this is more like sour and slightly seedy rapsberry and almost wild cherry, quite a nice nose even if not undergrowth-like, there is a touch of liqourice/gentle spice; definitively sweet palate but there're some astringent grainy tannins to keep it in check, certainly sweeter (in its tannins) than the Burgundy though, but finished quite nicely with savoury tannins and the acidity doesn't stick out, pretty good length too, …

This wine has all the classic Central Otago Pinot spice and richness of fruit, but at this very early stage in it`s development it is an unfair to make any sweeping statements about the wine as it appeared to me as untamed and almost "raw?" in it`s flavor profile. The nose is very shy but hints of impressive things to come. There will eventually be a floral component to the nose which will make it very distinctive. The color is …
