By the glass at Engawa, Ham Yard, London. Lovely rich but also layered character, soft and round but with solid acidity to keep the richness in check. Great alternative to sweet wine where a bit more sharpness is required.

By the glass at Engawa @Hamyard Hotel, London. Apparently among the finest produced today, with more than a fifth freshly squeezed plum nectar. 12% Alc, refreshing, and lovely served over crushed ice. Good sweet core, light on its feet though and very very good.
