Fabulous berry festival , of black berries, and dark cherries. Absolutely awesome and woderfully ready to drink with a well aged T-bone.

Deep, dark, briery berries with a big dose of pepper and spice. A mouthful of old vine Zin!

Pnp. Balanced. Good mouthfeel. Beautiful nose. Very complex palate with a long finish. It was great upon opening and continued to improve over the hour we drank it. Old school style of Zinfandel. Not fruity. More like a Ridge Geyserville. Great wine.

Nice bottle. Beautifully balanced and drinking well right out of the bottle.

2016 ZAP Trade Tasting, nose of black cherry, fig, and plum fruits, briar, pepper, and floral notes, more of the same on the palate, big body, complex, delicious, and in three years should be almost elegant, long, flavorful finish. this is a blend of three vineyards: Gino's, Italo's, and La Promessa and also a blend of three varietals: Zinfandel, Carignane, and Petite Syrah.

Had a glass in a restaurant. Big, aromatic, and complex. Black fruit, vanilla, oak, Cotten candy on the nose. On the palate a lot of oak (guessing American) vanilla, black fruit. Residual sugar is there, but not obnoxious. Complex. Very pleasant. Must try a bottle.

Winery tasting. Big aromatic nose and flavors of black pepper, and spicy,brambly dark berries, with a dried herb flair in the background. Very balanced with plenty of acidity to prevent any jamminess in the flavor profile leading to a long dry finish that lingers.
