Slo-oxed for 15 minutes. Dark aromas of coffee and chocolate, some dark red fruits, and a touch of floral (violet). The medium bodied palate showed the same coffee, chocolate and dark red fruit, along with some black fruit, some earth, a touch of oak, and relatively balancing acidity. Overall, a dark and somewhat brooding wine that could probably hold for another couple of years.

PnP, but a quick decant will allow you to separate the small amount of sediment, and give the wine some air. This wine is a blend of 59% Syrah + 40% Cabernet Sauvignon + 1% Malbec. Enticing aromas of dark red fruit and earth greet you. On the medium bodied palate the earthiness comes to the fore, with the fruit fading just a bit - potentially a sign of age.
