Deep gold-- mature color for a young White Burg. Lovely, rich nose of white peaches, minerals, honeysuckle, and a light touch of grapefruit. Huge intensity in the mouth-- medium bodied with palate staining minerals, peaches, grapefruit. Remarkable intensity for a wine this otherwise light on the tongue. Great mid-palate intensity that really shows the fruit and mineral balance, but finishes totally cleanly with lovely acidity and flavors that linger for 30+ seconds. This has filled out considerably since I tasted it last year. Now it shows the fruit and fat of the vintage, but still held firmly in check by excellent acidity. Very satisfying for a Macon. Modest length, but surprisingly thick texture. Now I wish I had more.

Light gold color, a bit richer colored than most young white Burgs. Decently intense, complex and elegant nose with minerals, white flowers, lemons, light peaches, herbs. Incredibly intense palate. Medium bodied, great purity, with great minerality, peaches, lemons, pineapples-- superb balance and intensity, vibrant acidity, with a long minerals and peaches on the finish. Just a great wine that likely has years of evolution.
