Good but a bit light for my taste, but a good Sunday afternoon wine.

Still holding up very well. Has great acidity in balance with fruit. Terrific food wine.

Translucent garnet, a little darker than your average Cali pinot. Strawberry, redwood, and fresh leather nose. Medium to full bodied, pomegranates, sharp red cherries, soy, smooth tannins, good acid, chocolate tobacco, and a medium finish. Better than last year, maybe peaking.

A very nice sangiovese, nice nose color and balance. Drank pretty well right out of the bottle and then got better with a little air. I think it still has some time left but don't hesitate to enjoy right now.

Slightly smoky, plummy, great acid. Probably a touch more smoke than I'd prefer, but it's a solidly built Sonoma Sangiovese.

Smooth and better than bottle 2. Also good on day 2.

Translucent garnet. Strawberry candy, earth, and spice nose. Medium bodied, tart cranberries, cherry cola, mint, light tannins, good acid, tobacco leaf, a bit of heat, and a medium finish. Pretty good drinker, but relatively simple and definitely not a value at the winery price.

Medium body and has much complexity as the tannins are light and the fruit is allowed to shine through. Nose of cherry, and more cherry with some tobacco. Good acidity and well balanced with nice finish. Highly recommend.

A thin bodied wine with very modest nose. An initial hint of cherries on the palate that quickly dissipated, one dimentional and somewhat flat. Did not improve with decanting. Our group were not impressed. Overpriced at $21.

Appearance: This is the lightest looking sangio I have ever seen. It's completely translucent. It looks like Pinot. Nose: Plum, with some very slight secondary floral notes. Taste: Tartness on the approach leads to a very full midpalate of plum, moving to a creamy/cheesy note towards the back. (This wine really tastes like marscapone and plums, its not typical sangio.) Very long finish. The finish has a bit of a bitter note. Very light mouthfeel/weight on this wine, though it …

Absolutely superb wine. Extremely smooth, particularly on the finish, was consumed rather quickly by several tasters eager for second glasses.
