This wine has really developed nicely over the years. It now has very rounded, mellow nose of apricots and melon. Coconut notes develop on the tongue coupled with crisp flavors of lychee and apple. This wine was definitely a very nice investment timewise!

Nose of fresh apple with light peach and grass. Lovely clear golden in color. Has come together very nicely, oak has mellowed and integrated very well. Oak, apples, and pear, crisp and chewy, very rich with long finish. Very happy how well it came together. However, some concern about my corks, this cork looked a little weird.

Still not ready. Very heavy oak, just not integrated with the other flavors. Very rich flavors, though. Good mouthfeel. Just not ready.

3 month tasting. Wow! Really nice. Very clear, especially considering this wine was not filtered. Very rich golden in color. Nose has lots of oak. Flavors dominated by oak as well, but also flavors of pears, lychee, and apple. Very rich, buttery mouthfeel with long, lingering finish. Oak is very prevalent, though. Hopefully the corks are OK. Should be very nice with the turkey risotto.

Wine still developing very nicely. Aromas mainly of green apple. Oak is "blooming", really developing in the palate. Buttered toast and roast apples on the tongue, nice buttery finish. No soapiness at all in this one now. Very good!

First bottle just after bottling, not bad at all. Very fruity nose with apples and pears. Golden color, quite clear, did not need to filter this one. Some minerality, a little funny aftertaste but not the soapiness that we tasted in the young Cab-merlot, might be affected by the oak in this wine. Good flavors already of apples and hay with a little oak. This will be a very nice wine that will benefit from aging. 13.5% alcohol
