Flaxman Wines Riesling

GT Wine March 2022 - Eden Valley & Great Southern Riesling (Winespace, Surry Hills) : Medium minus intensity aromas of lime, floral top notes, a little sherbet. Medium plus intensity acidity, quite lemon and lime on the palate with a touch of pithy bitterness which is just about right to hold interest without being off-putting. A little grip on the front of the mouth. Okay.

There's intense line fruit on the nose and in the mouth. It has some fine, complex floral spice. It is talcy and direct and light and airy. There's plenty going on, yet everything is contained and it finishes with chalky cut and excellent persistence.
